Happy Easter from Craft Picnic! Need a new idea for your Easter brunch? How about an easy Easter Basket Cake: I crafted one last year for our family Easter celebration. It was super easy, using a yellow cake mix and baking it in two 8-inch cake pans. Then stack with some chocolatey frosting in between and sculpt a little around the edges to make into a basket shape. I inherited a batch of dried gourds from a lovely woman who was a fantastic gourd artist, crafting her gourds into beautiful works of art and whimsical characters.
