I’ve been crafting like mad for our annual Christmas bazaar at our church, and having a lot of fun in the process. I think my mesh wreath skills are improving – I tried a couple with sparkle and a couple with muted burlap tones. All in the classic colors of red and green. These four are all made on a 14 inch wreath base for a nice large finished size with lots of fluff. For my personal taste, I like the burlap mesh and ribbon paired with the more muted Christmas tones. I think they have a little rustic farmhouse…
Dollar Tree put out so many amazing fall craft pieces this year, and I started collecting different items in July and August. As I found my favorites, I planned in my mind what I wanted to craft, then I started filling in with the rest for each decor creation. After die cutting them out, they were ready to embellish my card bases. The ideas just kept coming…
I always struggle to create cards for men, so when I found these cute puffy metallic seaside stickers at the Dollar Tree, I knew they would be perfect for what I needed. They also come in musical instruments, hot air balloons, tropical, home & family, and many more themes. For these cards, I stuck with the seaside theme and colors, found another 3D seaside style, square tiles in blues & greens, and seashell rub-ons. (Dollar Tree rub-ons are so easy to use and come in so many great illustrations!) I started with a kraft paper card base, added…
