Crafting Homemade Macrame Cards with My New Favorite Die Set!

I absolutely love this stamp and die set by My Creative Life called Homespun. The macrame dies are so intricate and easy to cut out. Then I can get creative with fun dimensional embellishments. It’s like I’m weaving my own little macrame wall art. The sentiments like “I can knot thank you enough…” and “hang in there” take it to another cuteness level. I paired it with Crafter’s Companion Bohemian Collection, especially the Bohemian paper pad with its layered imagery of dream catchers, pretty beads, feathers, and florals in…

Send Some Handmade Cards “With Love”

I absolutely love this card crafting kit from Crafter’s Companion – Sent with Love. This set is a little different because along with the pretty layered pattern papers, it also has kraft paper and solid color papers for die cutting. The colors are a bit vintage but modern at the same time. I especially love the mini envelope that can hold…

Handmade Christmas Card Gallery 2023

This year I created 40 cards using several different craft kits and themes. I tried different techniques with the sets and really had fun crafting them for family and friends! I love the vintage look of this craft kit from LDRS. I added some tearing, twine and glitter to play up the layered look of the background papers. This die cut set from My Diamond Press is my favorite from this season. It brings me back to the 80s with the look of clove studded oranges, potpourri, and dried flowers. I cut a bunch of the foliage in different greens…

Crafters Companion “Through the Looking Glass” Collection Card Gallery

I love the red white & blue color palette and collage style of this card making kit – all centered around Alice in Wonderland characters and imagery. I stamped a bunch of the sentiments that have some great font combinations and kitschy phrases, then I also stamped a whole page of the little imagery – Alice, pocket watch, playing cards, drink bottle, tea cup, cupcake, top hat – and colored them with some shading to add dimension. And of course lots of die cuts in black, gold, red and blue papers. After crafting my embellishments, I created my card bases…
