Here’s a super easy way to craft yarn wrapped pumpkins that are similar to the popular fuzzy pumpkins in all the stores. They are quick to make multiples and perfect for piling up for cozy decor or selling at a craft fair. The yarn I found is 72 yards, and enough to make 8 to 10 pumpkins. Most of the supplies are from the Dollar Tree! I spent a little time stamping out pretty images for some relaxing detail coloring. I like to make a big batch of images that I can color – just like a coloring book. It’s so fun and easy to practice crafting little art pieces, and then assembling them into cards. For some, I stamped the images in a color instead of black. Then I added colored in, blending with the alcohol markers. Go to my tutorial about blending…
Need to craft a batch of quick cards? Check out these cards using Splendid by Paige Evans from American Crafts with a fun colorful theme. I put together 18 cards in one afternoon and gave little packs of them as gifts. I placed two of them in cellophane bags and added a pretty ribbon bow. After coming up with a design I like, I made two – making it double easy. This cute set included die cut embellishments, and I added a Happy Birthday stamp to finish them off. I hope my friends enjoyed their little gift and can use…
I’ve been crafting a few Dollar Tree wreaths to sell at a little Spring Fling craft show in my area, and I’m really having fun putting different flower types and color combinations together. I’ve come up with somewhat of a formula to get the most out of my supplies (only about $10!), and I thought I’d share this style in a super easy DIY tutorial. Supplies:1 Dollar Tree wreath form (14 inches)2 pipe cleaners (cut into thirds)2 Dollar Tree rolls of wide ribbon (I chose burlap types)3 or…
