I absolutely love this card crafting kit from Crafter’s Companion – Sent with Love. This set is a little different because along with the pretty layered pattern papers, it also has kraft paper and solid color papers for die cutting. The colors are a bit vintage but modern at the same time. All I had to do is die cut a few shapes in pink, red, green and turquoise; add a stamped sentiment; and glue them onto the card bases covered in the coordinating rose & lace background papers. I spent a little time stamping out pretty images for some relaxing detail coloring. I like to make a big batch of images that I can color – just like a coloring book. These dies create layered flowers and leaves, and have a nifty trick of cutting on both sides, so all four layers can be cut in my die cutting machine all at once. They have such a cool paint-by-numbers, dimensional look! I inherited a big stack of Close to My Heart cardstock years ago, and this project was the perfect chance to use all the fabulous colors! I also found the weight of the…
