I spent a little time stamping out pretty images for some relaxing detail coloring. I like to make a big batch of images that I can color – just like a coloring book. Then blend in some ink into the backgrounds to take away the stark white paper and make the images pop. It’s so fun and easy to practice crafting little art pieces, and then assembling them into cards.
For some, I stamped the images in a color instead of black. Then I added colored in, blending with the alcohol markers. Go to my tutorial about blending techniques here.
All of these stamps are photopolymer, so they have beautiful, crisp line detail.
I experimented with “blending” two colors opposites – how do you think it looks on the succulents?
The best way is to just have fun and try something new – it’s just paper and ink – plus anything can be covered with a little ribbon or butterfly die cut! 🙂
